National Income Life Insurance Company is a subsidiary of American Income Life, which for over 50 years has served North American union policy holders. National Income Life is a 100% union company that solely insures union members in New York State. Their offices are located in Buffalo, Long Island, Rochester, Albany, Corning, New York City, and Syracuse.National Income Life has an exclusive and established market, as they are a 100% union company. This distinctly separates them from other insurance companies, and allows them to do away with cold calling and prospecting.

All members of union groups, even retirees, are provided Accidental Death and Dismemberment benefits through National Income Life. Spouses and children of members are also given an additional Accidental Death benefit. The coverage is in force 24/7 and is in effect whether on or off the clock. There is no cost to the union member for these benefits.

All that National Income Life is asking for in return is the chance to introduce the company’s permanent benefit program to all members of the union. This will be accomplished through direct mailings. Only the members who respond to the mailings via the postage-paid card will be given information on individually designed benefits for their family.

National Income Life is continuously working to introduce new benefits to the insurance market. When these benefits become obtainable, the company will get in touch with union contacts to discuss if the benefits will be of any value to members. National Income Life strives to provide outstanding service as well as having a long and stable relationship with union members.

Name, address, and miscellaneous changes can be made on National Income Life’s website. But a change in beneficiaries requires a form to be mailed to the company. If union members join a supplemental program, premiums can be deducted from a bank account. That involves mailing a signed form and a voided check to the company. Members can also select to have their premium notices E-mailed to them so they can pay the bill online. Claim forms are also available online.

National Income Life gives members a free Child Safe Kit, so their child won’t become one of the 2,000 children who are reported as missing each day. The kit will let members keep all of a child’s information in a secure place. Members can also receive a free copy of the company’s Family Information Guide, which members can keep information about their policy handy in case loved ones need to access the benefits.
